Job summary

ICTS, established in 1987, is seeking a Security Officer for a prestigious client site in Brighton. In this relief role, you will deliver high‑quality security and customer service while maintaining a safe environment.

You will manage access control, patrol premises, respond to requests, check IDs, operate alarms, and report incidents. A valid SIA licence, First Aid at Work, and CCTV certification are essential.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) licence.
• First Aid at Work qualification.
• SIA CCTV (PSS) licence.
• Proven background in security, ideally corporate security.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage access control for buildings and car parks for employees, visitors, and contractors
• Patrol buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect issues
• Respond promptly to customer requests and queries
• Check and challenge ID passes in a professional and friendly manner
• Activate/deactivate alarms and lock/unlock buildings, rooms, gates, and barriers
• Identify and report Health & Safety concerns and administer first aid if required
• Maintain accurate records, including incident reports, using computer and paper-based systems

Qualifications
