Job summary

Securitas UK in Bathgate is hiring a Relief Security Officer to help keep people and property safe, with 36 hours per week on day and night shifts.

From day one you’ll access development, mentorship, and benefits including brand discounts and pension. The role offers training, advancement opportunities and a supportive environment for growth.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA licence is required.
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
• Full UK driving license and own car is listed in the ad; access to own car is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site; monitor alarms and CCTV as appropriate.
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as instructed.
• Provide traffic control and enforce parking restrictions as required.
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate.
• Manage keys and perform locking/unlocking duties as instructed.
• Ensure equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is maintained per procedures.
• Maintain logbooks and records as instructed.
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in line with procedures.
• Handle lost property according to procedures.

Job Description

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:
