Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to protect customers and colleagues on the shop floor.

You will deter theft, patrol stores, operate CCTV and work with management to create a safe shopping environment. A valid SIA licence (or willingness to obtain) and a 5-year vetting history are required. Shifts offered with paid lunch breaks, reflective of a supportive employer.

• A full 5-year checkable employment or education history (essential for vetting)

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
• Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
• Carrying out regular store patrols
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Working closely with store management teams
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite

£13.23 per hour + Paid Lunch Break
