Lucy Cavendish College looking to recruit Relief Porters to work nights on a casual basis to provide an efficient and friendly service to students, visitors, Fellows and staff of the College.Duties include greeting visitors, providing a telephone and mail delivery service, security and fire and emergency response at both on and offsite buildings.
Hours are available on an ad-hoc basis to cover sickness absence and holidays with the hours typically from 7pm – 7am.
You will be courteous, professional and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be flexible and understand the importance of discretion and sensitivity. Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred although training will be provided.
