About the role

As a Relief Pharmacist with us, you’ll be providing excellent customer and patient care. It’s more than dispensing medicine; it’s listening and providing your expert advice and reassurance. You won't be based from one pharmacy but will provide services across various locations. Your main responsibilities will include:

1. Delivering the pharmacy strategy through expert care and advice
2. Being accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
3. Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
4. Conducting reviews via audits, observations, and risk assessments to ensure safety
5. Delivering a range of professional pharmacy services

What you’ll need to have

To succeed in this role, you should have a professional, caring character and a genuine desire to improve. Additionally, you will:

• Be registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
• Demonstrate high levels of expertise and be respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, and professionals
• Have a passion for community pharmacy and quality care
• Be collaborative and team-oriented
• Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and local/national services
• Be an effective communicator, able to meet varied customer and patient needs
