About our Nursery

Cheam Sutton, rated Good by Ofsted, is a small nursery with a capacity of 42 children, featuring a longstanding team that is passionate about providing the best start in life for each child. Our close‑knit staff operates like a family, fostering a supportive environment and participating in team bonding days. We collaborate with outside agencies to offer classes for children, enhancing their learning experience. Conveniently located just a five‑minute walk from Sutton town centre, we are also a short drive or a 10‑minute walk to the train station, with a bus stop at the end of the road. What to Expect as a Relief Early Years Educator:
  • Assist in planning and delivering educational activities that promote children’s development.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Take on the role of Key Person, fostering strong partnerships with children and their families.
  • Track and report on children’s progress through observations and assessments.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Level 2 qualification in early years education.
  • Experience working with children under 5.
  • Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • You may have previous experience working with children, ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse.
