Job summary

YMCA Black Country Group is seeking Relief Nursery Practitioners to cover our Dudley nurseries, providing year-round childcare sessions in environments where families feel valued and receive positive help and support.

You will be motivated to work with children and families, ensuring a safe, stimulating learning environment that supports growth and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high-quality childcare provision.
• Ability to observe, plan, and prepare learning activities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

• Contribute to promoting good practice and maintaining a high-quality provision.
• Completing observations, planning, and prepare a variety of learning enriched activities.
• Offering support and guidance to parents/carers enabling them to extend their own skills, and by boosting their confidence and self-esteem, ensure the emotional wellbeing of their child.

We are looking for Relief Nursery Practitioners to cover at our Dudley nurseries which provide childcare sessions all year round, in environments where families can feel valued and obtain positive help and support.

What you will be doing:

• Contributing to promoting good practice and maintaining a high-quality provision
• Completing observations, planning, and prepare a variety of learning enriched activities
• Offering support and guidance to parents/carers enabling them to extend their own skills, and by boosting their confidence and self-esteem, ensure the emotional wellbeing of their child

You will be motivated and passionate about working with children and their families and strive to provide a safe and stimulating learning environment for children to grow and develop.
