Job summary

Securitas UK is hiring a Mobile Security Officer to help keep people, property and information safe across sites in Wakefield and surrounding areas.

You'll perform patrols, respond to alarms, and support clients with professional, courteous service while upholding the Securitas values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.

Flexibility for days, nights and weekends, a valid SIA licence and a UK driving licence are required. Join a team of 322,000 colleagues delivering safety worldwide.

Qualifications

• Manual driving licence is required.
• Mobile patrol experience is welcome but not essential.
• Physically fit for site patrolling and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provides mobile security services including patrols, alarm response, and inspections.
• Remains professional, polite and helpful to clients, staff and colleagues.
• Takes direction from Team Leaders.
• Always wears the company uniform and displays SIA license and security ID.
• Performs vehicle handovers and checks at shift start and end.
• Drives the company vehicle in compliance with the Highway Code and stays professional at all times.

Responsibilities

You\'ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Provides a variety of mobile security services including but not limited to locks, unlocks, patrols both external and internal, alarm response, vacant property inspections, escort services etc.


• Remaining professional, polite and helpful to clients, client\'s staff and Securitas colleagues at all times.


• Taking direction from the Team Leaders.


• Always wears the company uniform. Including visually always displaying SIA license and security ID card.


• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the beginning and end of shift.


• Whist driving the company vehicle abides by the rules of the road, (Highway code) and always drives with due care and attention, being courteous to other road users, and does not bring the company name or brand into disrepute.

What we\'re looking for:
