Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Mobile Patrol Officer to help keep people, property and information safe across sites in the United Kingdom. You will provide a range of security services including patrols, locks/unlocks, alarm response and escort duties, while maintaining professional conduct and a visible company presence.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid SIA licence, a manual driving licence, and the right to work in the UK with a clear, checkable history.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence is required to perform security duties.
• A manual driving licence is required for patrols and shifts.
• Right to work in the UK with a verifiable history is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of mobile security services including patrols, locks/unlocks, alarm response and escorts.

• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at start and end of shifts; follow safety rules.

Job Description

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Provides a variety of mobile security services including but not limited to locks, unlocks, patrols both external and internal, alarm response, vacant property inspections, escort services etc.
• Remaining professional, polite and helpful to clients, client’s staff and Securitas colleagues at all times.
• Taking direction from the Team Leaders.
• Always wears the company uniform. Including visually always displaying SIA license and security ID card.
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the beginning and end of shift.
• Whist driving the company vehicle abides by the rules of the road, (Highway code) and always drives with due care and attention, being courteous to other road users, and does not bring the company name or brand into disrepute.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• A valid SIA licence.
• Manual Driving Licence.
• Mobile patrol officer experience is preferred but not essential.
• Physically fit for patrolling of site.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
