Job summary

Securitas UK in Hethersett, England, United Kingdom is looking for a Relief Mobile Patrol Officer to help keep people, property and information safe on a day-to-day basis. You’ll carry out mobile patrols, unlocks/locks, alarm responses, property checks, vehicle handovers, and strict key management, while following site instructions and escalation procedures to ensure safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of mobile security services including patrols, alarm response, vacant property inspections and escort services.
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the start and end of shift.
• Ensure security of the company vehicle and all equipment.
• Follow key management process when removing and replacing keys.
• Follow escalation process on incidents, break-ins, health and safety issues or RTAs.
• Escalate to Team Leader regarding incidents, risk, breakdowns and RTAs.
• Ensure all assignments are completed per site instructions.

Job description

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Provides a variety of mobile security services including but not limited to locks, unlocks, patrols both external and internal, alarm response, vacant property inspections, escort services etc
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the beginning and end of shift
• Always ensure security of the company vehicle and all equipment
• Ensure the correct key management process is followed when removing and replacing keys
• Ensure the correct escalation process is followed on discovery of an incident, break-ins, health and safety issues, road traffic accident etc
• Escalation to the Team Leader reference incidents, risk, breakdowns and RTAs. (RTAs to reported in line with company policy)
• Ensure all assignments are always completed in line with the site’s assignment instructions
