Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Relief Mobile Patrol Officer in Hethersett, near Norwich. You will cover a designated area, carry out mobile patrols, lock/unlock procedures, alarm responses and property inspections while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high safety standards.

You’ll need a valid SIA licence, a UK manual licence, and the flexibility to work days, nights and weekends. This role offers guaranteed hours, and a range of learning and development opportunities, with

• A valid SIA licence.
• A full UK manual licence.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Honest, reliable and have a professional attitude.
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provides a variety of mobile security services including but not limited to locks, unlocks, patrols both external and internal, alarm response, vacant property inspections, escort services etc.
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the beginning and end of shift
• Always ensure security of the company vehicle and all equipment
• Ensure the correct key management process is followed when removing and replacing keys
• Ensure the correct escalation process is followed on discovery of an incident, break-ins, health and safety issues, road traffic accident etc
• Escalation to the Team Leader reference incidents, risk, breakdowns and RTAs. (RTAs to reported in line with company policy)
• Ensure all assignments are always completed in line with the site’s assignment instructions
