Driffield CE Infant School is a happy and vibrant school based in the centre of Driffield.

We are seeking to appoint motivated individuals to join our committed and hard-working team of Midday Assistants to cover absences and illnesses. The role includes setting up and putting down tables, supervision of our pupils at lunchtime in the playground, dining room and around school, supporting the lunchtime routines and cleaning the dining hall.

The successful candidate will be able to communicate clearly with children and adults in a calm and respectful manner, be trustworthy and reliable and work within the school’s policies and procedures.

Hours are on a casual basis.

The school is committed to the safety of our pupils. Applicants for the post will be subject to stringent vetting and induction processes, including satisfactory references, enhanced DBS check, safeguarding training and on-line checks.
