Job summary

Driffield CE Infant School is seeking a motivated Midday Assistant to join our committed team. The role covers setting up and putting down tables and supervising pupils at lunchtime in the playground, dining hall and around school. Hours are Monday to Friday 11:45 – 13:00 during term time.

Applicants must communicate clearly with children and adults, be trustworthy and reliable, and able to work within school policies. DBS check and safeguarding training are required.

Driffield CE Infant School is a happy and vibrant school based in the centre of Driffield.

We are seeking to appoint a motivated individual to join our committed and hard-working team of Midday Assistants. The role includes setting up and putting down tables, supervision of our pupils at lunchtime in the playground, dining room and around school, supporting the lunchtime routines and cleaning the dining hall.

The successful candidate will be able to communicate clearly with children and adults in a calm and respectful manner, be trustworthy and reliable and work within the school’s policies and procedures.

Hours are Monday – Friday 11:45 – 13:00 term time only

The school is committed to the safety of our pupils. Applicants for the post will be subject to stringent vetting and induction processes, including satisfactory references, enhanced DBS check, safeguarding training and on-line checks.
