Together for Mental Wellbeing is seeking Relief Support Workers in Mid Suffolk & Babergh. The role pays £12.76 per hour and focuses on caring for individuals with mental health needs in home and community settings.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals from paid work, voluntary work, or life experience.
• Minimum GCSE or Level II qualification in English, or equivalent.
• Basic competence with email and word processing software.
• Willingness to participate in job-related learning and flexible shifts.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain relationships of trust with service users to build engagement.
• Help service users set and achieve goals, manage tenancies and move-ons.
• Work flexibly with service users in homes and in the community.
• Carry out assessments and determine urgency of service user needs.
• Collaborate with professionals from other agencies and make onward referrals.
• Carry out risk assessments to keep service users safe.
• Attend placement reviews and support at 1:1 or in groups.
• Assist with financial issues, benefits navigation, relationships, and medication per policy.
• Accompany service users to appointments and assist with domestic tasks as needed.
• Adhere to lone working policy and maintain concise records in English.
