Homeless Link in Croydon is seeking a Bank/Relief Worker to support residents with forensic mental health, complex needs and dual diagnosis. You will join a flexible team, selecting shifts to fit your schedule while delivering person-centred care and building effective support plans.

The role emphasizes safety, 24/7 short-stay support to prevent hospital admissions, empowerment, and collaboration with multi-agency partners. DBS checks apply, and applicants from all backgrounds are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with complex needs including forensic mental health or dual diagnosis.
• Ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds and empower them to achieve goals.
• IT proficiency and ability to learn new software programs.

Responsabilités

• Create tailored support plans through one-to-one sessions, group sessions, and multi-agency meetings.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents at all times.
• Provide safe, 24/7 short-stay support to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions.
• Support residents with taking their medication and maintain up-to-date records in the online portal.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns when needed.
