Pertemps London is seeking a Relief Manager for South East England, based from a home store with travel to nearby locations. You will support multiple stores, open/close duties, and drive customer service and sales performance across the region.

The role requires retail or store management experience, strong communication, and a driving licence with own vehicle. Reading/Bracknell area preferred, salary up to £32,000 depending on experience.

Up to £32,000 per annum (dependant on experience) | Full Time | Permanent

A leading self‑storage business is seeking a Relief Manager to support stores across South East England. Based from a designated home store, you will travel to nearby locations as required, providing operational support, management cover, and helping to drive sales and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cover and support across multiple stores within the region.
• Act as a key holder, opening and closing stores when required.
• Deliver excellent customer service and convert enquiries into sales.
• Support stores in achieving revenue and occupancy targets.
• Build relationships with local businesses and promote the store within the community.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation, health & safety, and compliance.
• Ensure accurate administration, cash handling, and financial controls.
• Support the Regional Manager with day‑to‑day operational activities.

About You

• Previous experience in retail, sales, customer service, or store management.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.

• Flexible and comfortable working across different locations.
• Full clean UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential).
• Ideally based in or around Reading or Bracknell.
