Job summary

Break is seeking a versatile General Maintenance Person to join on a relief basis, mainly on-site in Norwich. You will maintain and improve services across multiple counties, performing a variety of tasks from painting to plumbing and carpentry.

A full UK driving licence is required, and the role offers opportunities to contribute to fundraising projects and a supportive team environment. Be prepared for a dynamic role where no two days are the same, with opportunities to develop practical

Qualifications

• A practical, hands-on individual with a broad range of maintenance skills.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting and decorating, including preparation and repair work.
• Undertake minor plumbing tasks.
• Repair fixtures, fittings, furniture, and equipment.
• Complete basic glazing repairs.
• Perform carpentry work, including hanging doors and fitting door frames.
• Install plasterboard and carry out plastering work.
• Change locks as required.
• Lay flooring.
• Assist with furniture moves.
• Support fundraising builds and special projects.
