Job summary

Barnsley Museums, part of Barnsley Council, is seeking Relief Learning Assistants to support School, Family Learning and Community programmes across venues in Barnsley. You will work with schools, Early Years settings, families and community groups to deliver engaging learning experiences.

Applicants should have a Level 1 qualification and experience in an educational environment, be organized with strong communication skills, and able to engage diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering school-related activities or educational programmes.
• Ability to work with children and young people from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Schools, Family Learning and Community programmes across Barnsley Museums venues.
• Work with schools, Early Years Foundation Stage, families and community groups.
• Deliver schools activities and family/community workshops as required.
• Support students and learners in a range of age groups.
