Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust in Rochdale is seeking a full-time Facilities Assistant (Domestic Relief) to support cleaning across inpatient and community settings.

You will work within the Capital Investment and Estates Services team, following infection control standards, cleaning schedules and safety policies. The role demands reliability, teamwork and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Healthcare cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to follow infection control and health & safety rules.
• Familiarity with COSHH guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties across clinical, sanitary and admin areas.
• Follow cleaning schedules and Trust policies to maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure waste is disposed of safely and report incidents as required.
• Work as part of the facilities team across wards, clinics or admin areas.
• Attend mandatory training including fire safety and moving and handling.
