The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Facilities Management Services within various premises as required. There will be a requirement to undertake a combination of duties with a flexible day-to-day variable need. This will include staff supervision, key holding responsibility, cleaning duties, porterage, food handling, and various other duties as detailed in the job profile.

The post holder will need to adhere to Food Safety Systems of Work and Health and Safety legislation, and previous experience in this line of work would be an advantage. The successful candidate should be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.

Requirements

Applicants are, therefore, not statutorily entitled to withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are "spent" under the provisions of the Act. In the event of employment, any failure to disclose such convictions could result in dismissal or disciplinary action.
