2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites. 2gether provides vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more.
As a 2gether relief driver you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our healthcare services. You will be responsible for the safe conveyance of medical supplies, equipment, and patients between hospital sites and other designated locations. Your contribution ensures that healthcare services run efficiently and that patients receive the care they need in a timely manner. This role requires a high level of responsibility, as you will be entrusted with the safe operation of vehicles, adherence to strict safety standards, and clear communication with the logistics team. In addition to your driving duties, you will be expected to perform daily vehicle checks, maintain accurate records, and ensure that the vehicle is always in a clean and roadworthy condition. Your ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and respond to unforeseen circumstances with professionalism will be key to your success in this role. This is a full time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.This is a relief role, the base site will be the site closest to the successful applicants home address.
You will need a full UK driving licence. You must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, with the ability to conduct thorough vehicle checks and prioritise safety in all aspects of your work. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will need to operate the vehicle’s communication systems effectively and interact professionally with your team and passengers. Being a team player is crucial, as you will be expected to integrate smoothly with the logistics team, contributing to a collaborative working environment.
