Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking a Relief Domestic Assistant for Thomas Court in Pen-y-lan, Cardiff. The role covers flexible shifts to support sickness/holiday cover, with duties including housekeeping of homeowner apartments and cleaning of communal areas.

The ideal candidate will have cleaning experience, a caring nature, clear communication, and a friendly, hardworking approach with good time management. This is a part-time relief role with approx. 10–16 hours weekly, paid £12.85 per hour.

The Vacancy

McCarthy Stone are recruiting for a Domestic Assistant to join the team at our Thomas Court development in Pen-y-lan, Cardiff on a Relief / bank contract.

Built in 2013, Thomas Court is a Retirement Living development that consists of 58 apartments with the over 70's in mind, set within beautiful grounds.

Hourly rate: £12.85 per hour

Hours: Flexible hours per week to cover sickness and holidays and additional shifts. (Likely to be around 10-16 hours per week)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated, and friendly Relief Domestic Assistant to cover a mix of pre agreed shifts. You will be responsible for the domestic support and housekeeping, of our homeowner apartments and cleaning of the development's communal areas.
