Job summary

Abbeyfield Living Society is seeking Relief Staff to join our Sheltered Housing team in Sefton. This role combines cooking, resident support and housekeeping to help our older residents live well in a safe, friendly environment.

You will prepare meals, assist residents with daily needs, keep communal areas clean, and promote wellbeing. Full training is provided, with flexible bank hours and access to staff benefits.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and serve home-cooked meals for residents while managing food stock and rotation.
• Resident Support: Be the first point of contact for residents, assisting with daily needs.
• Housekeeping: Keep communal areas clean, tidy and well-maintained.
• Wellbeing Promotion: Support residents' wellbeing and foster a respectful, connected community.
