Job summary

Abbeyfield Living Society in Nottingham seeks Relief Staff (Cook and Housekeeping and GA) to support a sheltered housing team. The role combines cooking, resident assistance, and domestic duties in a flexible, bank (zero hours) arrangement.

You will prepare meals, support residents daily, maintain clean communal areas, and promote wellbeing in a caring environment. Eligibility to work in the UK, references and DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Two satisfactory employment references.
• Basic DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and serve home-cooked meals for residents, maintain stock and rotate foods.
• Resident Support: Be the first point of contact for residents, providing daily assistance.
• Housekeeping: Keep communal areas clean, tidy and well-maintained.
• Wellbeing Promotion: Promote residents' wellbeing and ensure they feel respected and connected.
