Job summary

ABM is seeking an experienced cleaning operative to perform office cleaning, floor care, and surface sanitization with attention to detail. Uniform provided and to be worn at all times, following supervisor directions for duties.

Role requires punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work both in a team and independently. Training available for buffing and deep cleaning tasks; background checks will be conducted prior to start date.

• Punctual and detail-oriented.
• Background verification and security checks required.
• 6 years of address history required as part of vetting.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices and workstations (IT equipment).
• Hard floor cleaning using buffing machine or scrubber dryer (training provided).
• Vacuum, dust, and waste removal.
• Kitchen and vending area cleaning.
• Toilet cleaning and machine carpet cleaning.
• High touch point cleaning and fogging.

LOCATION: Dundee, DD2 4SW

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Sunday, Zero hours per week

PAY RATE: £13.45 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

Experienced cleaning operative with great attention to detail required. ABM uniform will be provided and must be worn at all times. To carry out cleaning duties as directed by the Supervisor and or Line Manager

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include:

• Office Cleaning / Work station cleaning (IT equipment)
• Hard floor Cleaning (Use of Buffing machine / Scrubber Dryer) Training given
• Vacuuming / Dusting / Waste removal
• Kitchen / Vending area Cleaning
• Toilet cleaning
• Machine Carpet cleaning
• High Touch Point Cleaning & Fogging

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Smart Clean Appearance
• Can work as part of a team as well as working alone
• Being able to use a buffing machine is an advantage (not essential as training will be given)
• A proactive/can do attitude to work.

ESSENTIAL:

• Candidates must be punctual, trustworthy and have a good eye for detail.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
