Verts is recruiting a Relief Cleaner to join our Facilities Team at Leeds West Academy. This is a zero-hours role covering lunch-time duties, Monday to Friday, 12pm to 3pm, based at Leeds LS13 1DQ.

You will maintain high standards of cleanliness across classrooms and communal areas, clean toilets and surfaces, hoover and mop floors, and work independently while communicating effectively with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Great communication skills and experience in similar cleaning setting.
• A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group.
• The ability to make the best decisions with Vertas in mind.
• The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation.

About the Role:

Based at Leeds West Academy, Leeds, LS13 1DQ, you'll work on an ADHOC basis, a 0hr contract to cover lunch time duties, Mon - Fri 12pm - 3pm. You'll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard that meets our standards and delights our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms
• Wiping down tables and surfaces
• General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
