Job summary

CH&CO is seeking a Relief Chef to cover sites around London and the M25. The role offers a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday, 07:00–15:30, with mileage and expenses paid. Salary is £42,000 per annum and flexibility is required to cover various sites.

Key duties include preparing delicious food, managing holidays for managers, implementing menu changes and monitoring inventories. The ideal candidate is computer literate, adaptable, food-focused and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Cover Managers holidays and provide site support.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve our food services.
• Listen to customer feedback and maintain a positive brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens well stocked.
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.

Rate of pay: £42,000 per annum

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 07:00am - 15:30pm, 40 hours per week, flexibility required

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers

• Overseeing and implementing menu changes
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food servicesRepresenting CH&CO and maintaining a positive brand image
• Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
