Job summary

Bartlett Mitchell in the United Kingdom is hiring an experienced Chef Manager for a relief role covering multiple sites. The role is 5 days out of 7 (40 hours) with driving and UK travel reimbursed.

You'll manage operations, recruit and develop teams, control budgets, monitor GP, and ensure food safety and hygiene standards. A strong background in contract catering and menu development is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contract catering operations.
• Proven ability to recruit, train and motivate teams.
• Experience managing budgets and GP targets.
• Strong planning and forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Run the contract operations across multiple sites.
• Liaise with clients to ensure high service levels.
• Recruit, train and motivate the kitchen team.
• Manage budgets, weekly reports and stock counts.
• Forecast accurately and drive innovation in menus.
• Uphold hygiene, food safety and COSHH compliance.
