BaxterStorey is seeking an experienced Relief Chef to provide flexible cover across our Cheshire region. You will deliver high-quality culinary services across multiple client sites, maintaining our commitment to excellence in contract catering.

As a Relief Chef, you will bring professionalism and adaptability to every kitchen environment, ensuring consistency in food preparation, presentation, and service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven professional culinary experience in fast-paced kitchens.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (Level 2 desirable).
• Proficiency in a range of cooking techniques and food preparation methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals to the highest standards across client sites.
• Maintain rigorous food safety and hygiene standards in line with legislation and policies.
• Manage kitchen operations including stock rotation and inventory control.
• Adapt quickly to different kitchen environments and equipment.
• Collaborate with kitchen teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Monitor food preparation timings to meet service schedules.
• Support menu planning and execution based on client requirements.
