Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef Manager required.
• Financially astute; able to create menus, run costings and trading.
• Ideally background in contract catering.
• Excellent creative culinary skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in food cost management.
• Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations.
• Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Menu Planning and Execution – create menus and oversee food prep and presentation.
• Employee Management – recruit, train, and supervise kitchen and FOH staff.
• Inventory and Cost Control – monitor stock and control costs.
• Customer Relations – interact with customers to understand catering needs.
• Health and Safety – ensure compliance with regulations and safety culture.
• Budget and Financial Management – manage budgets and seek cost savings.
• Menu Development and Innovation – stay updated on culinary trends.
