Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Relief Chef to join our culinary team, covering sites across the South and Midlands. This permanent, full-time role is 35 hours per week with shifts 07:00–17:00 and a salary of £34,562.71.

You’ll collaborate with a team of chefs and supervised inmates to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner, follow recipes, maintain kitchen records, and assist with stock checks and deep cleans. Must be UK-resident with right to work, able to pass DBS checks, and have reliable transport

Qualifications

• Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have a legal right to work in the UK.
• Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Previous cheffing experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of chefs and enhanced inmates to prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Mentor and supervise enhanced inmates with food preparation and cooking meals.
• Follow recipes and maintain accurate kitchen records.
• Assist with stock checks, orders, and deep cleans.
