Job summary

Stir is seeking a Relief Catering Assistant to support school kitchens across the Warwick area. You will deliver friendly, high-quality service, help prepare fresh, nutritious meals, and ensure a clean kitchen environment. A full UK driving licence is required, and DBS disclosure may be needed.

Training will be provided to support safeguarding and health & safety. Working Monday to Friday for 25 hours per week during term-time (39 weeks per year), you will earn £13 per hour with opportunities

Qualifications

• Previous catering or food service experience is a bonus.
• A basic understanding of Health and Safety practices is desirable.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own car are required.

As a Relief Catering Assistant, you will represent our service across school kitchens within your area, delivering friendly, high-quality customer service. In this hands-on role, you'll help prepare fresh, nutritious, and sustainably sourced meals that support healthy school days.

Role Responsibility

Service Excellence: Work as a dynamic part of the team to create a fantastic dining experience for all our students and staff—you’re key to lunchtime happiness!

Customer Champion: Serve food and operate thetills(don't worry, we provide full training!).

Culinary Support:Jump in and assist the chefs with meal preparation, playing a vital role in bringing our delicious menus to life.

Keep it Sparkling: Ensure a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times.

• Safety First:Adhering to all guidelines, including Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies.
