Job summary

Stir is seeking a Catering Assistant to be the face of our service, delivering friendly customer service while preparing delicious, nutritious meals from fresh, sustainable ingredients.

You will support the team with service excellence, assist chefs, and ensure a clean, safe kitchen. DBS disclosure is required and training will be provided; weekend shifts are not needed. Location: Felpham, West Sussex, UK.

Role Responsibility

Service Excellence: Work as a dynamic part of the team to create a fantastic dining experience for all our students and staff—you’re key to lunchtime happiness!

Customer Champion: Serve food and operate thetills(don't worry, we provide full training!).

Culinary Support:Jump in and assist the chefs with meal preparation, playing a vital role in bringing our delicious menus to life.

Keep it Sparkling: Ensure a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times.

• Safety First:Adhering to all guidelines, including Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies.

The Ideal Candidate

Exceptional customer service skills are a must—you love interacting with people!

Previous catering or food service experience is a bonus!

A basic understanding of Health and Safety practices.

Food Hygiene Level 2 is great, but not essential—we believe in training, so we’ll provide it for the right enthusiastic candidate!
