Job summary

VSA is seeking a Relief Support/Care Worker for Linn Moor Campus in Peterculter, Aberdeen. This is a relief/part-time role with a variety of shifts including early, evening and weekends, and an hourly rate of £13.45.

A temporary weekend uplift (£1.40 extra per hour) applies until end January 2027. The role involves supporting children and young people across care and education services, ensuring a nurturing, safe environment and working under teacher direction and relevant Scottish policy

Qualifications

• Experience in social care or school support is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a care and education environment.

Responsibilities

• Work across care and education services at Linn Moor School and Campus.
• Provide a nurturing and safe environment to support children/young people.
• Support development of physical, emotional and educational well-being.
• Follow VSA and Linn Moor policies and procedures and applicable standards.
• Promote GIRFEC and other relevant policy frameworks.
