Job summary

Voluntary Service Aberdeen (VSA) invites applications for a Relief/Ad-hoc Relief Support/Care Worker at Linn Moor Campus in Peterculter, Aberdeen. The role is part-time and relief-based, with shifts including early, evening and weekends and no night shifts.

The base hourly rate is £13.45, with a temporary weekend uplift of £1.40 per hour during weekends until January 2027. Travel support includes a staff bus from Aberdeen City Centre to Linn Moor Campus.

Responsibilities

• The Relief Support/Care Worker is required to work across care and education services at Linn Moor School and Campus, following policies and standards.
• Maintain a child-centred approach and contribute to a nurturing and positive culture.
• Be part of a happy, safe and caring team enabling children/young people to learn and communicate with confidence.
• Work flexibly across care and education settings to support development.
• Promote GIRFEC principles (Getting It Right For Every Child) and current Scottish educational policy frameworks.
