Job summary

Ark Forres is seeking a Relief Support Practitioner to assist our supported people with a range of ages in their own homes and community settings. The role offers flexible, as-and-when shifts without guaranteed hours, promoting independence and person-centred support.

You will work with a team, update records on our Information Management system, and deliver compassionate care. Shifts vary, with opportunities to fit around your availability; Ark provides statutory annual leave and PVG/SSSC

Qualifications

• Experience in social care not required; training provided.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
• Communicate and work well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
• Being responsible in supporting individuals throughout the activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
• Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on Ark's Information Management system.
