Job summary

Ark Housing Association Ltd in Arbroath is seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team on a part-time basis. You will support individuals with a range of disabilities, both in their own homes and in the community, helping them gain independence and participate in activities.

You will work with colleagues to provide personal care, encourage development of daily living skills, and record progress on a tablet using Ark’s Information Management system.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care or care setting is advantageous
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassion and patient demeanour

Responsibilities

• Work with colleagues as part of a team to support vulnerable people
• Communicate and work with service users to provide personal care and maintain appropriate relationships
• Assist individuals with activities and encourage independence
• Update and maintain records using a tablet on Ark’s Information Management system
