Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council in Scotland is advertising relief care worker posts to provide a high standard of physical and emotional care in the Banff and Portsoy areas. The role includes sleepovers as well as day, evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• This post is regulated work with Children and/ or Protected Adults under the PVG Scheme; you will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check.
• A confirmed offer of employment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks (PVG and Overseas Criminal Record Check where applicable).
• You will be required to provide PVG/Police checks and evidence; SSSC registration within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of physical and/or emotional care while promoting equality for all individuals.
• Cover Banff and Portsoy areas with sleepovers, day, evening and weekend work.
• Demonstrate commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and organisation.
