Scottish Borders Council are recruiting a Relief Homecare Night Support Worker to provide person-centred practical and emotional support in Earlston, Lauder & Melrose. This relief/casual role offers flexible hours and training is provided.

Applicants should have PVG Adults clearance (we will arrange) and SSSC registration; a current driving licence and use of a vehicle are essential. Benefits include a Living Wage, pension, and discounts.

Qualifications

• SVQ2 or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
• PVG Adults clearance will be arranged for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred practical and emotional support according to individual support plans.
• Promote health and well-being and meet needs inclusively.
• Support, enable and involve service users in all aspects of life.
• Safely administer medications following training.
