Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare is seeking an experienced agency relief Care Assistant for our Coventry-based clients. You will provide personalised care and support to residents, helping with bathing, dressing and grooming in line with care plans.

You will administer medications as prescribed, monitor wellbeing, encourage social engagement, and work either as part of a team or independently. A NVQ2/ Care Certificate and Medicines Administration training are required, with day and night shifts available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care certificate required.
• One year of experience with adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities.
• Up-to-date Medicines Administration training required.
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules.
• Care is tailored to individual needs, maintaining dignity and independence.
• Encourage residents to engage in social events and activities.
• Monitor health and wellbeing to ensure care plans remain relevant.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Ensure residents feel valued and respected as individuals.
