Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare is seeking experienced Senior Care Assistants to support clients in Ipswich on behalf of one of the UK's largest residential, nursing, and dementia care providers. The role involves hands-on care, medication administration, mobility assistance, and strict adherence to care plans.

Candidates should have NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate, 1+ year of relevant experience, and up-to-date training in medicines administration, First Aid, and safety

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care certificate required.
• At least 1 year experience with adults with physical & intellectual disability in a care home.
• Medicines Administration training up to date.
• Emergency First Aid (Including CPR).
• Up to date Safety Intervention training.
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior.
• Implement behavior management techniques as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
