McCarthy Stone is looking for a professional Relief Care Assistant to join their team at Windsor House, a stunning development in Sheffield.
Windsor House is a Retirement Living PLUS development set in landscaped grounds in the sought-after suburb of Millhouses. Built by award-winning builders McCarthy & Stone, this retirement development is home to a vibrant and friendly community for the over 70s.
Salary: £11.58 per hour plus additional pay (see below)

As a Relief Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality individual care to residents, enabling them to live well in later life. Your duties will include housekeeping, domestic support, supporting residents in activities that promote health and wellbeing, assisting with appointments, arranging transport, escorting visits, and shopping assistance. Each day will be diverse, offering opportunities to make a real difference using your people skills.
You are a warm, friendly individual, ideally with some experience in care or support environments. You are passionate about enhancing the wellbeing and happiness of older people and enjoy working as part of a team in a busy setting. You are committed to delivering excellent customer service. Ideally, you will have a QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults), but relevant experience and alternative qualifications will also be considered.
