Relief Care Assistant at McCarthy Stone

McCarthy Stone is seeking a professional Relief Care Assistant to join their team at the stunning Dutton Court development in Cheadle Hulme.

Dutton Court features 68 one and two-bedroom Assisted Living apartments for the over 70s, located on Station Approach, off Station Road.

Salary and Hours

Base Salary: £11.58 per hour

Hours: Flexible

About the Role

As a Relief Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, individual care to residents, supporting their wellbeing. Your duties will include housekeeping, domestic support, encouraging participation in activities, assisting with appointments, arranging transport, escorting visits, and shopping support. Every day will be diverse, offering opportunities to make a real difference using your people skills.

About You

• You are a warm, friendly individual, ideally with some experience in care or support environments.
• You have a passion for enhancing the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
• You enjoy working as part of a team in a busy setting.
• You are committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• You are interested in working in the Health and Social Care sector. Ideally, you will have a QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults), but relevant experience and alternative qualifications will also be considered.
