Job summary

Hafan Deg Residential Home in the Ceredigion area is seeking Relief Care and Support workers to join our team. The post involves working with service users who may have complex or high needs, delivering direct and remote support in line with care and support plans, and promoting safety and wellbeing under supervision.

Successful applicants will be expected to administer prescribed medication, participate in safeguarding processes, and work flexibly across day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience working with care plans and service users.
• Ability to support individuals with complex/high needs.
• Willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS check.
• Commitment to safeguarding and Welsh language standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties in line with individual care plans and support plans.
• Administer prescribed medication as directed.
• Provide 1-1, family, or group support with other professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and report safeguarding concerns.
