The Vacancy

McCarthy Stone are recruiting for a professional Relief Care & Support Assistant to join the team at our prestigious William House development in Thatcham, Berkshire.

Hourly rate: £13.20 per hour, plus an additional £1.30 for evening and weekend shifts.

Hours: To cover shifts on an 'as and when' basis, to be discussed with the development manager.

About the role: As a Relief Care & Support Assistant, you will provide high-quality individual care to residents, support with domestic tasks, encourage participation in activities, assist with appointments, transport, shopping, and escorting residents. Your role will be diverse and impactful.

• Warm, friendly, with some experience in care/support environment preferred.
• Passionate about older people's wellbeing and happiness.
• Committed to excellent customer service.
• Possess or be willing to attain a QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent relevant experience.
