ALPINE RACING LIMITED is offering a Reliability Student Placement in Enstone for a 1-year program starting July 2027. You will investigate reliability challenges, perform data analysis, and collaborate with engineers across multiple departments to reduce risk and improve car performance.

Our Reliability department works at the heartofengineering, partnering with teams across the business to understand failures, reduce risk, and ensureeachcomponentdelivers the robustness and consistencyrequiredto compete at the highest level.
As a Reliability Student Placement, youwill support investigations into reliability challenges experienced both at the factory and on track, helping to understand why faults occur, and reducingfuture risks. Througha combination of data analysis,hands-on investigation,testing, and collaboration with engineers across multiple departments,you’llhelpidentifyimprovement opportunities and contribute to solutions that enhance car performance and reliability.You Will have the opportunity to work across all areas of the car, at all stages of the design and validation process, whilst learning from experienced engineersand reactingto faults as they happen at the track.
Support the ReliabilityDepartmentin the management and tracking of faultsand componentsacross the organisation.
Assistwith fault investigations, root cause analysis activities, and the implementation of corrective actions.
Assistwith reliability reporting and the maintenance ofcomponentlife tracking systems.
Analyse reliability data toidentifytrends, emerging risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Work with engineers across Design, Manufacturing, Operations, and Performance groups to gather information and track progress on fault resolution activities.
Supportsystem andprocess improvement initiatives within the Reliability function
Participate in technical reviews, meetings, and discussions, gaining exposure to the lifecycle of car development.
Collaborate with design, performance, manufacturing, and test teams to implement reliability improvements
Help ensure components meet reliability, performance, and regulatory requirements
Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or Systems Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM subject,and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year of university
Ability to communicate agoodunderstanding of engineering fundamentals,mechanicalsystemsand technical concepts
Analyticaland detail-orientatedmindset with an interest in problem solving, fault investigation, and data analysis
Experienceworking with technical information, through engineering software, data analysis tools, or practical engineering projects
An enthusiasm for engineering, with a desire toproactivelylearn within a high-performance motorsport environment.
Strong collaboration skills, with the resilience to adapt to changing priorities and overcome challenges in a fast-paced environment.
