Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of equipment and on-site spaces while upholding Health & Safety standards. You’ll help keep colleagues safe, prevent downtime, and improve equipment availability across fulfilment sites.

The role focuses on proactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and supporting apprentices, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and roll out best practices across EU sites.

Qualifications

• 4-year UK certified apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3/ SVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Qualified engineer with relevant mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong verbal and written English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects across EU sites.
