Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of site equipment and uphold health and safety standards in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will proactively perform maintenance, diagnose faults during live operations, and contribute to continuous improvement across EU sites.

You will work on-site, respond quickly to machinery issues, and support apprentices while collaborating with senior colleagues to keep downtime to a minimum.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics is required.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer is expected.
• Experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance is required.
• Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites.
