Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of site equipment, including Book Making equipment, while upholding health and safety standards. The role focuses on preventing downtime and keeping machinery available.

You will perform planned preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, support apprentices, and contribute to continuous improvement across EU sites. Shift patterns may include nights to ensure continuous coverage.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a production environment.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices.
• Support development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects across EU sites.
