Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an on-site Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to perform proactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment. The role includes fault diagnosis, repairs, safety compliance, and supporting on-site apprentices across EU sites.

You will work shifts to cover around-the-clock operations, with opportunities to implement long-term improvements and collaborate with senior colleagues on complex automation systems.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer.
• Relevant experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across EU sites.
• Respond quickly to machinery issues and implement solutions.
